Tidbits from the Archives

The theme of Book Week 2003 was Oceans of Stories. It was the perfect opportunity to deck out the Wide Reading area in aquatic and nautical paraphernalia. It was awash with student creative art, as well as a lifebuoy, a surfboard and a collection of colourful beach towels. It even had a mock sandpit. Perhaps the enthusiastic library staff went a little overboard but these makeovers were always appreciated by the students.

Thanks to Matthew Roberts (Archivist) for this photo.
