In the Makerspace

The Light Box in the corner of the Makerspace

In the LRC makerspace, we're trialing a photography light box (sometimes called a photo studio tent or picture cube) It's basically a gadget for photographing objects against a black background and contains a front LED light and a back light to give your object some depth and make it POP!.

We're inviting staff and students to use it in the next couple of weeks (until Friday June 4) to see if it's something that's useful to the community and worth purchasing. So come by with your object and camera or smartphone to give it a try. Students with 3D printed objects may wish to photograph them or photography students may like to learn a new skill. Easy to use.

NOTE: White, Green and Blue backgrounds are available on request.
