Ghost from BodyTorque Digital | NGV X The Australian Ballet

After rehearsing for months in front of a camera at home, dancers of The Australian Ballet staged their latest season of Bodytorque.Digital at NGV Melbourne. Bodytorque is a series of new dance works by up-and-coming choreographers paired with emerging composers. ‘Who is change, who is fear? A pit in your stomach, empty lungs, shaking hands. What happens when you sit with them? Get to know them, make peace with them? New Ghost was created through a process of exploring and understanding. Choreographed by Mason Lovegrove, performed by Serena Graham and Joseph Romancewicz, with music performed by Orchestra Victoria.New

From the Archives: The Library 2003 to 2006

2003

A big lunchtime crowd enjoys the library in 2003. Thanks to Mr Matthew Roberts, our school archivist, for these photos.

2004

The theme for Book Week 2004 was Doorways, so colourful arches created doors over the fiction collection. Look closely and you'll see a CD spinner rack in the photo.

2005

Reading Rocks was the theme of Book Week in 2005 and the library adopted a rock and popular music vibe. The mannequin, borrowed from the Arts department, was dressed like a disco diva (notice the crown)

2006

Former Teacher Librarian, Ninka Watts takes a class in the library. The corner area with the pink curtains and butterflies was a recreational reading and relaxing area called The Butterfly Zone.
