The Victorian Premiers Reading Challenge encourages up to Year 10 to read a set number of books over the year and record their efforts online.
Since the Challenge first began in 2005, more than 3 million students have read nearly 50 million books.
The Reading Challenge starts March 1st and ends 1st September.
To complete the challenge: Year 7 - 9 (15 books) 10 from Challenge list 5 choice Year 10 (15 books) 5 from Challenge list 10 choice.

Students finishing the challenge, reading 15 books will be awarded a Community Spirit Point.
Students who submit a 150 review for their books on the Library Access-IT System can gain another Community Spirit Point.
The student who has read the most books in each year level wins a $50 Dymocks Voucher and "Top Reader" Certificate.
The Top Reviewer will receive a $50 book voucher. This will be for the best review submitted on the Library Access-IT System.

The English classes at each year level that completed the most Challenges will be treated to a morning tea and each student who has completed the challenge will be given another Community Spirit Point.

In the review include

A little bit about the book (no spoilers!)
Why you liked the book
Why someone else would like to read the book and why (eg. If you liked Percy Jackson you will like this book...).
