The Victorian Premiers Reading Challenge encourages up to Year 10 to read a set number of books over the year and record their efforts online.
Since the Challenge first began in 2005, more than 3 million students have read nearly 50 million books.
The Reading Challenge starts March 3rd and ends 5th September.
To complete the challenge: Year 7 - 9 (15 books) 10 from Challenge list 5 choice Year 10 (15 books) 5 from Challenge list 10 choice.

Once a students reads 5, 10 and 15 books and verified they will receive a Community Spirit Point. That means a total of 3 Community Spirit Points can be gained for completing the challenge.
The student who has read the most books in each year level wins a Dymocks Voucher and "Top Reader" Certificate.
To have your book verified you must submit at least 50 word review on the reading challenge website
The English classes at year 7-9 that completed the most Challenges will be treated to a morning tea and each student who has completed the challenge will be given another Community Spirit Point.
