Wider Reading Program: Home

A space to document what we are doing in our Wider Reading program Year 7 - 9.

What is Wider Reading

The Wider Reading Program exists to build life long recreational reading skills.

We know that there is a direct link between students who read recreationally and high academic attainment.

The Wider Reading Program is a collaboration between the Learning Resource Centre and the English Faculty, aiming to provide relevant reading resources and strategies to encourage wider reading habits.

When does Wider Reading happen?

Wider Reading normally happens every two weeks during an English class, but students are welcome to browse and borrow at any time throughout the day.
