Book Week is, traditionally, the week where we celebrate the winners of the CBCA Book Awards.

At Sion we use it as an opportunity to celebrate the way that reading and literature enhances our lives.

The Big Weekend of BOOKS

Radio National's Big Weekend of Books

ABC Radio National's second annual Big Weekend of Books festival is taking place on the air waves and online over August 28-29.

Big Weekend of Books features top local and international writers in discussion such as Holly Ringland, Colm Toibin, Alice Pung, Douglas Stuart, Lisa Taddeo, Andrew O’Hagan, Marina Warner, Craig Silvey, David Mitchell, Imran Mahmood, Brendan Cowell and more.

There will be more hands-on sessions too — including a writing masterclass with one of Australia’s finest authors.
